KUALA LUMPUR (Apr 21): Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Bhd (StanChart Malaysia) has appointed Aaron Loo as head of retail clients.

Loo will report to StanChart Malaysia managing director and chief executive officer Mahendra Gursahani and StanChart regional head of retail clients for Asean Sebastian Arcuri.

Loo brings more than 15 years’ experience in retail banking covering strategy, product management, operations, collections and recovery, information technology and project management over a range of retail products and support functions.

He was previously head of group consumer banking at Alliance Bank Malaysia Bhd.

Prior to that, he spent close to 10 years at CIMB Group Holdings Bhd, where he was last senior managing director and head of group cards and personal financing division.
