KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 7): Green Packet saw some 22.69 million of its Warrants B that was listed last December, representing 5.04% of the total Warrants B issued, traded in off-market trades today.

According to Bloomberg, the warrants crossed at 6 sen apiece or a total of RM1.36 million, a discount of 40% from the warrants' closing price of 10 sen apiece in the open market today, after edging up half a sen or 5.26%.

Last year, the group announced 450.61 million free detachable warrants for its renounceable rights issue of up to 150.2 million new ordinary shares on a three-for-one basis last year.

The rights shares were issued at 40 sen apiece, which raised RM60.08 million for the group. The exercise price of the warrants was set at 40 sen apiece.

Green Packet shares closed 8.11% or three sen higher at 40 sen apiece today after 17.35 million shares were traded — giving it a market capitalisation of RM333.45 million.
