KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 15): Some 15.51 million warrants were traded off market for Sumatec-WB, at 31 sen per unit or RM4.8 million in total today.

The block of derivatives that changed hands was equivalent to 2.7% of 567.6 million outstanding warrants.

However, it did not specify any information on the buyer or sellers of the trade.

On the open market, Sumatec-WB was down 3.17% or one sen to 30.5 sen, with a total of 9.72 million shares changing hands.

Sumatec-WB has a strike price of 17.5 sen and is trading at a 10.34% premium to its mother share, which closed at 43.5 sen today. The warrant is set to expire on Nov 13, 2018.

Sumatec-WB’s share price has taken a beating, after it hit a record high of 54 sen in mid-August. Prior to that, the warrants had enjoyed a strong rally, rising from 20 sen in June.
