This includes RM12.5 billion to fund 5G network hardware and infrastructure, as well as RM4 billion for corporate cost expenditure, the ministry told Dewan Rakyat in a written reply dated Wednesday (March 1).

The ministry was responding to Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani [Umno-Titiwangsa], who asked for the estimation of the total cost of the 5G project and the amount spent by DNB as of December 2022.
