KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 25): As sustainability is more relevant than ever in our world today, more Malaysian property developers are weaving this approach into the fabric of their company, including in the way they build and the products they are delivering.

For the last issue of the year, we ask five prominent developers that prioritise sustainability and being green to highlight one township development in their portfolio that best showcases their ethos, and how they have made the township liveable, promote community living, protect the environment and preserve biodiversity, lessen the impact of the development on natural resources and ensure the sustainability and maintenance of the township.

In the same issue, we look back at some of the country's key real estate events in 2022, and hear what international property consultants from across the globe say about their country's real estate market performance and outlook. We also have The RealDeal column that discusses what a "quality" home is, and we speak to emerging urban farming stakeholders on the growing needs and opportunities of urban farming in Malaysia. Also in this issue, we feature some notable reused and repurposed buildings in Malaysia photo-gallery style.
