KUALA LUMPUR (June 30): Expectations of year-end overseas festival yield boosted K-One Technology Bhd’s shares by 1.92% after suffering a downward trend at the end of May.

At 12.28pm, K-One (valuation: 0.8; fundamental: 2.5) rose 0.005 sen to settle at 26 sen with 6.8 million shares done after opening at 0.265 today.

Yesterday, a report in The Edge Financial Daily quoting K-One group executive chairman Edwin Lim stated that business will improve in subsequent quarters and normally peaked in the fourth quarter to cater to year-end sales.

Before midday, the shares rose 3.85% or one sen to settle at 27 sen, giving it a market capitalisation of RM112.53 million.
