MIDF在每周资金流向报告中指出，然而，这意味着外资已连续10周成为马股的净买家。

“外资在上周的每一个交易日都是净买家，但是买入却低迷，反映投资者冷淡。这是由于预期全球股市目前处于盘整模式，交投因多个市场休市而扰乱。”

“可幸的是马股已经避免了突然和不稳定的撤资。”

MIDF指出，今年为止，外资购买额达66亿3000万令吉。虽然规模相当大，但仅是上届大选2013年同期的约一半。
