（吉隆坡20日讯）大众银行（Public Bank Bhd）首季净利年增1.6%至12亿5000万令吉，归因于净利息和回教银行收入增加，以及税收减低。

大众银行在今日的一则文告中指出，截至2017年3月31日止的财政年首季净赚12亿5000万令吉，同期净利报12亿3000万令吉；营业额则从上财年同期的50亿1000万令吉，扩增至50亿3000万令吉。

（吉隆坡20日讯）大马马赛地（Mercedes-Benz Malaysia）预计，2017年的本地组装（CKD）汽车销量将走高，因为“价格更具吸引力及经济实惠”。

大马马赛地销售与营销副总裁Mark Raine表示，本地组装业务占大马马赛地销售的三分之二，其余来自整装进口（CBU）汽车。

（吉隆坡20日讯）产业发展商警告，随着政府最近对某些进口钢材征收3年的保护税，屋价可能会上涨。

大马房地产发展商会（REHDA）主席Datuk Seri FD Iskandar Mohamed Mansor指出，如果保护税导致钢材价格上涨，他们别无选择，只能将额外的成本转嫁予购屋者。

他昨日在该会2016年下半年产业调查和2017年上半年展望汇报会上说，虽然征收保护税是为了保护本地钢铁领域，但此举对产业领域不利。

（吉隆坡18日讯）大马经济研究院（MIER）表示，政府并没有足够努力来解决影响国家经济增长的结构性问题。

MIER执行董事名誉教授Dr Zakariah Abdul Rashid指出，结构性问题已造成来经常账项的数额收窄。
