KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 16): WZ Satu Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, WZS KenKeong Sdn Bhd, has won a RM33.7 million contract from Laksana Amanbina Sdn Bhd for infrastructure works.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, WZ Satu said the contract entails the construction and completion of earthworks, infrastructure works and street lighting services in Kuantan, Pahang. 

The project is due to be completed within 58 weeks.

“The award is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and net assets per share of the group for the financial year ending Aug 31, 2015,” it said, adding that the award is in the best interests of the group.

WZ Satu shares closed down 11 sen or 6.92% at RM1.48 today, bringing a market capitalisation of RM381.41 million.
