KUALA LUMPUR (May 9): More than a year into the Covid-19 pandemic, many businesses have weathered what they hope to be the worst of the storm. The crisis is far from over, but the rollout of vaccination programmes offers a glimpse of hope and light at the end of a long tunnel. We ask some Malaysians how they are keeping their chins up and their companies going through it all.

Also in this week's issue, we talk to Senheng Electric founder and group executive chairman K H Lim, the master category winner of the 2020 EY Entrepreneur of the Year Malaysia. Although the common perception is that age is inversely proportional to one’s inclination to embrace change, Lim has proven to be the exception rather than the norm. In this refreshingly frank interview, he also revealed the ups and downs of his journey in consumer electronics, and how digital transformation has always kept him ahead of the curve.

Don’t miss out on our interview with founder Sophia Ong on her unique handbags crafted from kimono fabrics and obi silks sourced from Japan, as well as the lowdown on the 31st edition of MercedesTrophy, the prestigious golfing tournament for amateurs staged in over 60 countries with more than 60,000 golfers participating each year.
