The thriving Facebook group Caring Moms’ bazaar may just be the lifesaver you’re looking for, with over 150 vendors boasting everything from home cooked meals, baked goodies, snacks, household decorations and artisanal goods. In true festive spirit, the bazaar will also boast a number of live performances, including acrobatic lion dance. Baby’s First Comedy Show

No, this is not a comedy show for actual babies. For two jolly days, emerging local and international comics from as far as the US will come together for Kuala Lumpur’s newest comedy showcase, which will also be graced by a handful of well-known professionals. The show will be hosted by Malaysian comedian Hannan Azlan, winner of the 2016 Hong Kong International Comedy Competition. Baby’s First Comedy Show takes place at 9pm today and tomorrow, at fono in Zhongshan Building, Jalan Rotan, Kampung Attap, Kuala Lumpur. Tickets are priced at RM25 at the door. Outrun the Voices live

Hailing all the way from Vancouver, Canada, the three-piece band Outrun the Voices are here to rock your Saturday. Made up of vocalist and guitarist Naomi King, bassist Kurt Krza, and drummer Scott Haig, the band came together in 2016 and has been gradually making their way up in the scene, performing around the globe and releasing their first EP. The concert will also feature local bands Tinnitux, Bad Idea, The Fridays, and On A Trip. Catch Outrun the Voices at 5pm tomorrow, at Moutou, which is located on Lorong Panggong, Kuala Lumpur.
