KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 4): Tower A of WCT Land Sdn Bhd’s The Maple Residences in W City OUG @ KL has achieved a take-up rate of 72% since its launch on Oct 31. The Maple Residences is the second component of W City OUG @ KL.

“We are pleased that The Maple Residences is well received by the public despite the pandemic. The fast take-up rate is due to a strong demand for freehold and affordable luxury condominiums among first-time homebuyers, young families and investors,” said WCT Land CEO of property development Ong Chou Wen in a press statement on Nov 2.

The Maple Residences occupy a 4.91-acre freehold parcel at W City OUG @ KL — a 63-acre integrated development in Taman OUG — comprising three towers (Tower A 32 storeys, Tower B 41 storeys, and Tower C 51-storeys) with a total of 940 units. The units will feature eight layouts, including three-bedroom units with built-ups of 808 to 1,163 sq ft and four-bedroom dual key units with built-ups of 1,378 sq ft. Selling prices start at RM643,000 and the project is slated for completion in 2025.

According to the developer, the W City OUG @ KL master plan provides for inclusive and multi-generational communities, which offers different lifestyle offerings in different precincts within a connected cityscape.

“W City OUG @ KL is designed with an emphasis on walkability and connectivity with a composition of residential, mixed commercial and public spaces at a macro level that focus on connected living,” said Ong.

The Maple Residences’ facilities include a 50m Olympic length infinity pool, dry and wet play areas, garden whirlpools, a 260m jogging track, outdoor fitness station, open facility deck, poolside lounge, gymnasium, games room, reading room, yoga room, meditation deck, barbecue terrace garden and multipurpose hall.

The development is easily accessible via major highways such as Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas), Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway, Middle Ring Road 2 and Maju Expressway (Mex). Nearby transport hubs include the Sri Petaling and Awan Besar LRT stations.
