KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 22): Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Senator P Waytha Moorthy said he is ready to cooperate with police in their probe against him over his remarks in a 10-year-old video clip which went viral on social media recently.

“Of course I can provide full cooperation to them,” he told reporters on his way out of the Dewan Rakyat today.

Earlier today, Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim said police would summon Waytha for an explanation on the alleged disparaging remarks about Malaysia in the video clip.

The Minister was reported to have made the remarks in an interview conducted in the Netherlands.
