KOTA KINABALU: One more Barisan Nasional State Assemblyman has defected to Warisan, making it a total of six BN defectors.

According to Star Online, the six are Abdul Muis Pichu (Umno-Sebatik), Hamisa Samat (Umno-Tanjong Batu), Osman Jamal (Umno-Balung), Jamawi Jaafar (Umno-Kemabong), Ewon Benedick (Upko-Kedamaian) and Abidin Madingkir (Upko-Paginatan).

Now Parti Warisan Sabah and its partners DAP and PKR have 35 seats, leaving Barisan chairman and Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman with only 25 seats and no longer with the majority of the 60 member state assembly.

Warisan president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal they now have the majority to take over the Sabah State government from the State government of Musa Aman that was sworn in last night.
