THE Entrepreneurs’ Organization Malaysia is opening its exclusive three-day conference, EO Taipan Masterclass 2017, to the larger business community and their executive teams for the first time. For the past 14 years, the event was open only to members.

EO Malaysia is a non-profit organisation that engages with leading entrepreneurs to help them learn and grow. The EO Taipan Masterclass 2017 will be supported by EOXpo, where several companies will showcase their products and services.

EO Malaysia invites key influencers and captains of industry to share information and their experiences for entrepreneurs to learn how to build company culture and best practices in sales and marketing.

Featuring three power-packed days of hands-on workshops, key note addresses and expert panel sessions, EO Taipan Masterclass 2017 will be facilitated by world-class speakers to help participating companies develop ready-to-execute strategic plans, with accountability and measuring tools all mapped out.

The conference will open with a keynote address on “The Leader of the Future” by John Spence, a renowned author, business management consultant and trainer who is well-known for his work surrounding his mantra “Making the very complex ... awesomely simple”.

This will be followed by a panel discussion on “Digital Disruption in Traditional Economies” featuring Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation CEO Datuk Yasmin Mahmood, The Asian Banker chairman Emmanuel Daniel and Uber Malaysia and Thailand general manager Leon Foong.

The second panel discussion on “The Funding Game” will see the participation of Creador CEO Brahmal Vasudevan, BFM managing director Malek Ali and Alliance Bank Group SME Banking head Ernest Kwong.

The second keynote address on “Real-Time Marketing” will be delivered by internationally acclaimed Sales and Marketing guru David Meerman Scott.

The closing panel discussion “Level up” which will focus on top CEOs, will feature Eco World Development Group Bhd CEO Datuk Chang Khim Wah, Malaysia Airlines CEO Peter Bellew and Holstein Milk Company managing director Loi Tuan Ee.

The remaining two days of the conference will include interactive workshops designed to help executive teams develop strategies and tactics around the main topics of business success and sales and marketing.

Day Two will feature a full-day workshop on “Achieving Business Excellence” by John Spence.

Day Three will feature “The New Rules of Sales and Marketing” by David Meerman Scott. Both workshops will focus on how businesses need to be adaptive in an ever-changing climate, and will equip participants with the knowledge and tools to succeed even in difficult times.

EO Taipan Masterclass 2017 will be held at the VE Hotel & Residences, Bangsar South, from April 10 to 12.

Single tickets for the public are priced at RM550 for Day One, and RM6,200 for all three days.

All conference fees are Human Resource Development Fund claimable for Malaysian companies and the three-day conference tickets include all lunches and coffee breaks, a networking cocktail party and gala dinner on Day Two for workshop participants.
