KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 1): i-VCAP Management Sdn Bhd has appointed Amanie Advisors Sdn Bhd as its new Shariah adviser for its exchange traded funds (ETFs) under i-VCAP's MyETF schemes effective today.

"The appointment of Amanie Advisors follows the cessation of CIMB Islamic Bank Bhd as the funds' Shariah adviser with effect from Aug 1, 2017," i-VCAP told Bursa Malaysia.

i-VCAP said Amanie is the Shariah adviser for the Dow Jones Islamic Market Malaysia Titans 25, MSCI Malaysia Islamic Dividend, MSCI SEA Islamic Dividend and Thomson Reuters Asia Pacific ex-Japan Islamic Agribusiness ETFs.

According to i-VCAP's website, i-VCAP is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Valuecap Sdn Bhd, which in turn is equally owned by Khazanah Nasional Bhd, Permodalan Nasional Bhd and Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan).
