KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 12): My E.G. Services Bhd (MyEG) has received a letter of intent (LoI) from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) to work together and deploy their respective expertise, knowledge and resources to conduct academic programmes.

In a bourse filing today, MyEG said the contract award needs to be formalized within 12 months.

“Either the company or UUM may withdraw from further discussions on the collaboration and abort the LoI,” it added.

MyEG said both parties are keen to conduct academic programmes in IT and project management, blockchain technology, augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, software development and IT operations.

MyEG shares closed nine sen or 6.12% higher at RM1.56, for a market capitalisation of RM5.54 billion.
