KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 18): TSH Resources Bhd informed today that a fire occurred at a factory owned by its wholly-owned subsidiary Ekowood International Bhd at around 5am.

In a statement to Bursa Malaysia, TSH said the factory is located within Perak's Gopeng Industrial Park. Hardwood-flooring manufacturer Ekowood contributes approximately 5% of the group's total revenue, TSH said.

"The estimated loss is yet to be ascertained as the affected areas have been sealed by the Fire Department and inaccessible now. All assets are sufficiently insured and adequate insurance coverage has been taken for consequential business loss.

"Further announcement will be made once the actual losses have been determined," TSH said.
