KUALA LUMPUR (May 12): TA Global Bhd executive chairman Datuk Tony Tiah Thee Kian has bumped up his stake in the company by 0.03% via three separate transactions that brought him an additional 1.6 million shares between May 7 and May 11.

According to the company’s filing with the bourse today, the shares were bought for 32 sen a piece, translating to a total purchase price of RM527,072.

Following the acquisition, Tiah holds some 642.7 million shares, or a 12.08% equity stake in TA Global (fundamental: 1.2; valuation: 2).

Tiah, who held 11.95% in the company on April 8, has been seen accumulating shares in the company recently.

TA Global closed unchanged at 32 sen today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM1.7 billion.
