<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Fernandes is appointed as the acting group CEO in addition to his position as a non-independent non-executive director of AirAsia X, the group said in a Bursa Malaysia filing.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a separate filing on July 1, AirAsia X, a Practice Note 17 company, updated that it was still in the midst of regularising its financial position and it had about four months left to submit its regularisation plan to the relevant authorities.</p></div>
