KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 1): Time dotCom Bhd has appointed Maxis Bhd’s former chief financial officer Rossana Rashidi as deputy CEO, assisting group CEO

In a Monday, Time said Rossana – who was Maxis’ CFO from January 2004 to May 2011 -- brought with her “a wealth of experience and knowledge that will prove invaluable to Time’s plans to consolidate its position at home while becoming a major Internet and bandwidth provider in Asia Pacific”.

“Rossana will be a steady and wise hand in navigating our ship in these regional waters,” Afzal, 34, said the statement.

Rossana,47, will be involved in the day-to-day running of Time and would “focus on building operational best practises and drive [Time’s] execution initiatives”.

Before joining Maxis, Rossana spent 14 years in the financial services sector, starting with Citibank NA before moving on to become RHB Bank Bhd’s head of enterprise banking. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance from the Canberra College of Advanced Education, now known as University of Canberra, Australia.
