PHNOM PENH (Feb 3): Thailand-based SCG-Boonthavorn has launched home-living retail outlet Design Village — the first of its kind in Cambodia — in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district.

Due to open next quarter, Design Village is set to cater to growing demand for home-related design solutions in Cambodia. CBRE Cambodia has been appointed the lead agent for the project and will deliver retail leasing and advisory for the available units within Design Village. 

CBRE Cambodia managing director James Hodge said in a press release: “CBRE is delighted to be working with SCG-Boonthavorn on this groundbreaking project. Design Village offers a fresh, new retail concept for Phnom Penh. A convenient location, ample parking and an outstanding array of international brands make the project stand out as a clear destination for those looking for design inspiration for their home.”

With the focus of providing new and uniquely-designed products as well as the best experience for home decoration conveniently placed under a single roof, Design Village will offer an exclusive collection of furniture, home decoration accessories, kitchen studios, mini and supermarkets, as well as food and drinks in addition to a free co-working space. 

International brands available there include Grohe, Toto, Kohler, Cotto, American Standard and Porcelanosa.
