<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a bourse filing, the coatings manufacturer said it received on Thursday (Oct 13) a notice in writing from TGS in regard&nbsp;to the auditor's resignation.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“The resignation of TGS is on a voluntary basis,” Sersol said, adding that besides this, it is not aware of any matter that needs to be brought to the attention of its shareholders.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Meanwhile, Sersol said the appointment of a new auditor will be advised in due course, pending the new auditor’s clearance and consent to take the post.&nbsp;</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Sersol is mainly involved in the coating of plastic and metal for the electrical and electronics industry.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>For the second quarter ended June 30, 2022, Sersol fell into a net loss of RM978,000, from a net profit of RM18,000 a year ago. Revenue was slightly higher at RM3.86 million, from RM3.6 million previously.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Shares in Sersol ended unchanged at nine sen on Thursday, giving it a market capitalisation of RM46.48 million.</p></div>
