KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 10): Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) said today that its dividend of 22 sen per share for the second quarter ended June 30 (2QFY20) will be paid out on Oct 14.
The counter will go ex on Sept 29, while the entitlement date will be on Sept 30, the company said in a filing.
TNB’s board approved the single tier interim dividend — totalling RM1.25 billion — when it announced the latest quarterly result on Aug 28. The payout is lower than 2QFY19’s payout of 30 sen per share.
Shares of the utility group traded up 2 sen or 0.18% at noon market break, giving it a market capitalisation of RM63.89 billion. At its last traded price and on an annualised basis, the counter has a dividend yield of 3.93%.
