KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 13): Tenaga Nasional Bhd. is lower for the eighth straight day, on track for the longest losing streak since the company went public in 1992.

Tenaga Nasional has lost a total of 6.2 percent during the streak while the FTSE Bursa Malaysia EMAS Index fell 2.2 percent. Today, the stock fell 0.6 percent to RM13.42.

Since 1992, there have been three slumps of seven days and no longer ones.
