KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 5): Businessman Datuk Seri Tee Yam @ Koo Tee Yam has increased his shareholding in Caely Holdings Bhd to 19.12%, closing the gap with the group’s largest shareholder Datuk Seri Goh Choon Kim, who holds a 21.05% stake.

Koo bought 10 million shares on Wednesday (Aug 3) in an off market transaction, bringing his total stake to 49.38 million shares or 19.12%, up from 15.25% as at Aug 1, said Caely in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

The lingerie maker also said that its former executive chairman Datuk Wira Ng Chun Hau disposed of 14 million shares on Wednesday, paring his shareholding to a 4.60% direct stake and 0.83% indirect stake.

Ng’s direct shareholding stood at 10.02% or 25.89 million shares as at Aug 1.

Caely’s shares closed unchanged at 31 sen on Friday (Aug 5), giving the group a market capitalisation of RM80.01 million.
