KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 21): Malaysian bubble tea brand Tealive has partnered with Myanmar Food For Thought Co Ltd (MFFT) to open five outlets in Myanmar by year-end.
This follows its successful launch in the country, its third ASEAN market after Vietnam and Brunei.
“We have full confidence in the MFFT team as they are a leading food and beverage player in Myanmar with a trail-blazing track record of developing brands for more than six years,” Bryan Loo, Tealive founder and chief executive officer of Tealive parent Loob Holdings Sdn Bhd, said in a statement.
Currently, MFFT operates 20 outlets across regional and local brands in Myanmar.
Loo noted that with the encouraging response in Vietnam, Brunei and now Myanmar, Tealive has also just signed up a partner for its entry into the Philippines, one of the fast-growing markets in ASEAN.
Tealive is the leading lifestyle tea brand in Malaysia with new stores opening every week, adding up to its current count of 317 outlets nationwide.
It also has a presence in China, Vietnam, Brunei, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
