KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 25): TDM Bhd's chief executive officer (CEO) Badrul Hisham Mahari will be leaving his post effective Jan 1, 2016 due to his present health and medical condition.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the plantation and healthcare group said the company has accepted Badrul Hisham's resignation and has already found a suitable replacement.

"The new CEO will tentatively report to work on Jan 1, 2016. The company will make the appropriate announcement on the appointment of the new CEO in due course," it added.

According to the latest annual report, Badrul Hisham, 56, was appointed as CEO on July 1, 2008.

He was previously the CEO of MSC Trustgate, a subsidiary of the Multimedia Development Corp.

TDM closed one sen or 1.49% lower at 66 sen today, for a market capitalisation of RM977.9 million.
