SATISFY your palette with the strong, fresh flavours of authentic Szechuan cuisine at the Dragon-i flagship outlet, Dragon-i Peking Duck, in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Savour the culinary experience that is the Taste of Szechuan set menu offered at the recently relaunched outlet, which was previously known as Dragon-i Signature.

The set menu was launched by a special guest, master chef Zhu Jian Zhong, from Szechuan, China, for the Szechuan Food Festival. The master chef, who is the head chef at a food and beverage cruise in Jincheng, Chengdu, will delight guests with an array of original dishes, using special spices and ingredients that he brought with him all the way from Szechuan.

From now until September, the established Shanghainese and Hong Kong chain restaurant operator in Malaysia since 2004 invites you to embark on a gastronomical experience of traditional Szechuan cuisine, one of the four major cuisines in China.

Szechuan dishes are primarily made up of seven basic flavours — sweet, sour, pungency, spiciness, bitterness, aromatic and salty — all of which are bound to whet the appetite. Among the dishes on the menu are Chillied Spicy Chicken with assorted vegetables in casserole and Szechuan dan dan la mian in hot and sour soup.

The Taste of Szechuan set menu is priced at RM75 per person. Further information can be found at www.dragon-i.com.my or by contacting the Dragon-i hotline at (03) 7806 3188. Alternatively, you can also contact the outlet in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur at (03) 2143 7688 for enquiries and reservations.
