KUALA LUMPUR (April 23): Takaso Resources Bhd saw 7.5 million shares or a 3.68% stake in the company traded off-market today for RM3.75 million.

According to Bloomberg data, the shares were moved in two blocks (3.75 million shares each) for RM1.875 million per block. The transaction price translates into 50 sen per share.

It is not immediately known as to whom the buyers and sellers of the shares were.

Takaso Resources (fundamental: 1.65; valuation: 0.3) is involved in the manufacturing, trading and marketing of high quality babycare accessories, medical contraceptive condoms and toys.

Its major shareholders include Tee Tze Chern, with an indirect interest of 14.85% as at Feb 9, 2015.

As at Oct 17, 2014, Kombinasi Emas Sdn Bhd has a direct interest of 10.57% in the company.

The counter closed unchanged at 50 sen today with 3.13 million shares done, giving it a market capitalisation of RM101.97 million.
