KUALA LUMPUR: AT Systematization Bhd's wholly-owned unit AT Engineering Solution Sdn Bhd will be partnering China’s Shanghai JieNaXin Mech & Elec Equipment Co Ltd (JNX) in a collaboration to build disinfectant chambers to fight Covid-19.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing yesterday, the company, having inked a memorandum of understanding with JNX, said they will pool their knowledge and experience to begin production of anti-epidemic, integrated solutions, such as thermometry and integrated disinfection chambers, as well as localising the software and equipment parts of these chambers.

The chambers will enable temperature scanning, sanitising and disinfection spraying, said AT Systematization. Both companies will be responsible for the consultation, design, research and localisation of the software and equipment parts for the production of the chambers.

“The difference between our chambers and those in the market is that ours allow for disinfecting and temperature scanning — key in detecting Covid-19 symptoms.The whole idea is to automate the detecting and disinfecting automatically, without human contact. We look to marketing this by mid-June 2020,” said AT Systematization managing director Choong Lee Aun.
