<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>KUALA LUMPUR (April 26): Sumatec Resources Bhd announced today that it would not be able to issue its annual report for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2018 (FY18) within the stipulated time frame.&nbsp;</div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>In a bourse filing, Sumatec said the annual report, including annual audited financial statements, together with the auditors' and director' reports, will not be issued in time according to Bursa's listing requirements, which is within four months from the end of FY18.&nbsp;</div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>It said the annual report for FY18 will be released “within five market days from the given time frame.”&nbsp;</div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>Shares of Sumatec closed up 0.5 sen or 50% today to 1.5 sen, for a market capitalisation of RM63.79 million.&nbsp;</div>
