Willowglen MSC Bhd (+ve)

Trading of shares in Willowglen MSC Bhd (fundamental: 1.45/3, valuation: 1.40/3) triggered our momentum algorithm yesterday for the fourth time since November.

The stock rose 3.5 sen or 6.6% to close at 56.5 sen yesterday, its highest closing since October 2018. It saw 7.12 million shares traded, sharply higher compared with its 200-day average trading volume of 337,913 shares.

According to Asia Analytica, the tech solutions provider catering to utilities, oil and gas, infrastructure, commercial and residential management sectors is currently looking at expanding into the Vietnamese market for smart building management and utilities management systems.

The company’s current main markets are Malaysia and Singapore, with the latter contributing nearly 83% to total revenue in 2018. In its financial year ended Dec 31, 2018, Willowglen posted a net profit of RM11.11 million on a revenue of RM134.64 million.
