SHARES of Damansara Realty Bhd (fundamental: 0.8/3; valuation: 0/3) triggered our momentum algorithm for the first time this year, after 1.93 million shares changed hands. The counter closed 6.5 sen or 8.03% higher at 87.5 sen yesterday.
Damansara Realty is principally engaged in the provision of integrated property related services, ranging from facilities management, to healthcare and hospitality consultancy and planning.
For its fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2015 (4QFY15), it posted a net loss of RM262,000, compared to a net profit of RM458,000 in 4QFY14. Revenue fell 13.76% to RM53.01 million from RM61.47 million.
For the full year, Damansara Realty’s net loss narrowed to RM2.92 million, compared to RM4.51 million a year earlier. Revenue grew 4.34% to RM207.22 million, from RM198.61 million.
The stock trades at 2.4 times its book value. No dividends were paid in the past three years.
