Ancom Logistics Bhd (+ve)
SHARES in Ancom Logistics Bhd (fundamental: 2.25/3, valuation: 0.3/3) triggered our momentum algorithm for the first time this year. The counter closed 1.5 sen or 15.8% higher at 11 sen yesterday, with 3.75 million shares traded. In comparison, its 200-day average volume is only around 95,946 shares.

ACE Market-listed Ancom Logistics is an integrated bulk liquid logistics provider with a bulk liquid terminal in Port Klang. It provides transportation services for bulk liquid.

It posted a net loss of RM721,000 in the second quarter ended Nov 30, 2016 (2QFY17), from a net profit of RM35,000 a year ago, on lower revenue and higher administrative expenses.

Revenue for 2QFY17 fell 17.36% to RM7.14 million from RM8.64 million.

For the six-month period of FY17, its net loss widen to RM1.17 million from RM86,000 a year ago. Revenue declined 10.03% to RM14.98 million from RM16.65 million.

The stock currently trades at 1.62 times book value.
