KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 29): Sterling Progress Bhd saw 80.83 million of its shares, representing a 28.9% stake in the company crossed off market today.

According to Bloomberg data, the shares were moved in one block, at 25 sen apiece, at a total transaction value of RM20.21 million.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the group revealed that its largest shareholders, executive directors Leong Seng Wui and Low Wey Heng had disposed of their 80.83 million shares, held via their interest in FNS Avenue Sdn Bhd.

It is not known who the buyers of the shares were at a press time.

The group is involved in information, communications and technology such as the trading and servicing of computer hardware and parts, as well as electro hydraulic automation systems.

Its shares closed down 0.5 sen today at 19.5 sen, for a market capitalisation of RM54.46 million.
