<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, ECS ICT said Soong, who has more than 20 years of experience in the ICT distribution market, began his career as a sales executive with ECS Pericomp Sdn Bhd in 1987, before making his way up to general manager in 1994 , executive director in 2001 and deputy CEO in 2014.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The company also revealed that its current chairman and co-founder Datuk Teo Chiang Quan has been redesignated to the position of non-executive director.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Teo is also the deputy chairman and substantial shareholder in property developer Paramount Corp Bhd.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>All three boardroom changes in ECS ICT will be effective from Jan 1.</p></div>
