KUALA LUMPUR: Solid Automotive Bhd, which saw its share price marched to record high of RM1.22 today, said its non-executive Chairman Kek Kok Swee sold one million shares at RM1.20 per share on Nov 5, according to its latest filing with Bursa Malaysia.

Prio to that, the company's Executive Director Ker Meng Oi also sold one million shares, or about 0.7% direct stake. Ker has ceased to be the substantial shareholder in the Johor-based automotive parts manufacturing company with a 4.35% stake after the share disposal.

Solid Automotive was recently highlighted as one of the Stocks with Momentum by TheEdge Research, which noted that the company's expansion overseas would help grow its sales base.

The company made its debut on Bursa Malaysia in September last year. The stock price has more than doubled from its initial public offering price of 56 sen per share.
