PETALING JAYA (Nov 29): SkyWorld Development Sdn Bhd celebrated the structural completion for one of its ‘Awani’ series – SkyAwani 3 Residences – in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur on Monday.

Also present at the event were Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim, Deputy Minister Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias, Secretary General Datuk Seri Hajah Rosida Jaafar, Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Mahadi Che Ngah, Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia chairman Datuk Fathul Bari Mat Jahya, SkyWorld CEO Koong Wai Seng, deputy CEO Lee Chee Seng and executive director Zafidi Mohamad, as well as senior executive directors and officers from the Ministry of Federal Territories (KWP) and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL).

Sitting on 4.55 leasehold acres, SkyAwani 3 Residences is a Rumawip project and has an estimated gross development value of RM570 million. It comprises three 52-storey towers with 1,905 residential units in total. The three-bedroom and two-bathroom units have built-ups of 800 sq ft and are priced at RM300,000 each. The units are expected to be handed over by early 2022 and have been fully taken up since its launch in July 2017.

The project is Qlassic (Quality Assessment System in Construction) compliant and one of its unique features is the country’s longest skybridge across three-interconnected towers on level 52, where residents can enjoy unobstructed views of the Kuala Lumpur city centre skyline.

The development will offer a 24-hour, three-tiered security and feature more than 20 full-fledged recreational facilities, which include a central main pool, bubble jets Jacuzzi, potpourri garden, bamboo garden, children’s playground, basketball court, reflexology circle, gymnasium, jogging track, multipurpose hall and barbecue pavilion that are spread over Level 8 (podium) and Level 52.

SkyAwani 3 Residences is near AEON BiG Danau Kota, Setapak Central Mall, SK Setapak, SMK Danau Kota, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Sri Utama International School, Columbia Asia Hospital, KPJ Tawakkal KL Specialist Hospital, Kuala Lumpur General Hospital and Royal Selangor Visitor Centre. It is easily accessible via Jalan Genting Kelang, the Middle Ring Road 2 and Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway.

Meanwhile, Ng revealed that the developer will be launching the sixth instalment of the ‘Awani’ series next year, called SkyAwani 6 Residences, which is also located in Setapak adjacent to the SkyArena master development that comprises residential and commercial components, as well as the SkyArena Sports Complex.
