SINGAPORE (Dec 3): Singapore's stock market opened up 0.3 percent on Wednesday after the bourse operator, Singapore Exchange Ltd (SGX), delayed the start of trading in securities due to a software defect.
At 12:32 p.m. (0432 GMT), the Straits Times Index was 0.27 percent higher at 3,331.57.
SGX had earlier said its securities market would open at 12:30 p.m. instead of the usual 9 a.m.
