Sime Darby Property Bhd sold all 165 units of Elsa — 2-storey link houses in Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang — on the day of their launch.

Elsa is the first development under the company’s Affordable Collection, which includes high-rises and landed properties priced below RM500,000 and located within the Klang Valley. The units in Elsa will measure 20ft 65ft and are priced below RM500,000 each.

“This is an excellent start to our Affordable Collection. The strong demand for Elsa proves that there is a need in the market for quality products in great locations and at the right price points,” Sime Darby Property chief marketing and sales officer Gerard Yuen says in an April 7 press release.

“The launch of the collection is timely and in line with the Malaysian government’s aspiration to ensure homes are more affordable for the middle and lower-income groups,” he adds.

Sime Darby Property plans to launch over 5,000 affordable houses between 2019 and 2021 under the Affordable Collection, which comprises statutory and open market products.

Elsa enjoys easy connectivity to major highways such as the New Klang Valley Expressway, Federal Highway and New North Klang Straits Bypass Expressway, and is linked to the upcoming West Coast Expressway.

“Bandar Bukit Raja also houses a 100-acre town park, the largest in Klang. It is aimed at integrating wellness into the residents’ lifestyle,” Sime Darby Property states in the press release.

Elsa is the fifth product under the company’s Primetime 8 campaign, which started last month and will see eight products being launched over eight consecutive weeks. The campaign ends this month.

“The campaign has seen multiple successful launches, including that of Elmina Valley Five, which saw a 98% take-up rate at the launch of its first phase on March 24. Primetime 8 gives customers the opportunity to purchase newly launched properties, which are strategically located in the Klang Valley and Johor,” says the developer.

The next launch in Bandar Bukit Raja under the Affordable Collection has been tentatively set in June.
