PETALING JAYA (Nov 3): Sime Darby Property Bhd's latest high-rise project, Maya Ara Residences in Ara Damansara, has achieved a take-up rate of 90% since it was virtually launched via the company's official Facebook page on Oct 30.

In a statement on Wednesday (Nov 3), group managing director Datuk Azmir Merican said that the project attracted great demand even before the launch and is a testament to the company’s credibility in offering in-demand products at the right locations and price points.

The Type B and B1 units of Maya Ara Residences feature two-bedroom/two-bathroom layouts with built-ups of 764 sq ft, while the Type C units measure 1,055 sq ft and come in layouts of three-bedroom/two-bathroom. Selling prices start from RM594,800.

“A lot of research went into the making of Maya Ara Residences to suit the current and future living and lifestyle trends. Homebuyers will be able to design their houses with our customisable fully-furnished package, which has four different interior design themes. This development injects a breath of fresh air into the already established Ara Damansara township, which will appeal to the younger generation and first-time homebuyers seeking to make a good investment for the future," said Azmir.

The development has a contemporary and versatile design, with a nod to sustainable living as demonstrated by the GreenRE (Green Real Estate) compliant development rating. The open-plan layouts provide natural lighting and ventilation, as well as features that promote energy saving and efficient water use.

The facilities at Maya Ara Residences are designed for multipurpose use. These include a function hall that can be utilised as a co-working space, a game room with a green screen for video shoots, a community barbecue area to promote residents’ interactions as well as a gymnasium. The development is also easily accessible via three major highways and is near various amenities and facilities.

Meanwhile, Sime Darby Property’s in-house online booking system (OBS) enables customers to enjoy an easy and seamless homebuying experience to select and book their units without any hassle. The OBS is the culmination of the company's digitalisation efforts on the consumer front to ensure consistency in customer engagements during the Covid-19 pandemic and within the new normal.

“Our online booking platform was developed for the convenience of homebuyers and to provide us a better understanding of customers’ preferences. The knowledge and insights gained are valuable for the company to strategise future virtual launches,” said Azmir.
