KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 22): Shapadu Corp Sdn Bhd aims to complete construction of its mixed property project, Putrajaya Haven, in Putrajaya in three years.

Speaking to reporters after the project launch today, Group Managing Director Shafiz Shahrani said Putrajaya Haven would have a gross development value of RM700 million.

"The project will comprise a shopping mall, high-end residential units and a five-star hotel," he said.

"We are in discussion with One World hotelier to be the operator of the hotel," he added.

The 2.3 acre parcel of commercial was purchased from Putrajaya Holdings Bhd (substantially owned by Petroliam Nasional Bhd or Petronas) for RM40 million.

Shahrani said Shapadu would be moving its corporate headquarters to the development in Putrajaya,  from its current location in Shah Alam.
