KUALA LUMPUR (June 30): Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd has bagged 10 new contracts, including three worth an estimated RM543.5 million in Indonesia and Zambia.

In a statement today, the group said it had secured an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract through its 75%-owned unit PT Serba Dinamik Indonesia, and two information, communication and technology (ICT) contracts through its wholly-owned subsidiary SDIT International Ltd.

The remaining seven contracts were obtained through wholly-owned Serba Dinamik Sdn Bhd in Malaysia. These operations and maintenance (O&M) contracts have no specific value as they are on a “call-out” basis, the group said.

Serba Dinamik group managing director Datuk Dr Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah said: “We are pleased to be awarded with these 10 contracts, allowing us to expand our business operations not only in Malaysia and Indonesia but in Zambia as well.

“The two contracts secured in Zambia have further strengthened our position in Africa and strengthen our capabilities in the ICT segment. Nonetheless, we are confident that Serba Dinamik will hit another peak for the financial year ending [Dec 31], 2020.”

Shares in Serba Dinamik closed six sen or 3.77% higher at RM1.65 today, with a market capitalisation of RM5.56 billion.
