KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 14): Shares in integrated engineering services provider Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd rose 1.71% this morning after it secured an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract in Uzbekistan worth an estimated US$250.3 million (RM1.05 billion).
At 10.56am, Serba Dinamik added 7 sen to RM4.16 for a market capitalisation of RM6.11 billion.
The EPCC job, for a 90 tonne per day chlorine processing plant in the Hazarasp Free Economic area in the Khorezm region, as well as a 26mw/h steam turbine independent power plant, was secured via its wholly-owned Serba Dinamik International Ltd, it said in a statement yesterday.
The job is to be completed in two years, starting Aug 8 this year.
