LOMBOK (Oct 13): Selo Group has launched prefabricated designer villas to offer sustainable and cost-effective real estate in Indonesia.

Selo Group CEO Andrew Corkery said in a press release that managing the process of building a property can be daunting with the number of factors to consider, from hiring builders and contractors to dealing with delays, and this product provides a seamless path to own a luxury villa in Indonesia.

Sustainability and preserving the environment have been one of Selo Group’s core values. Prefabricated products allow building the projects off-site inside a custom facility that will help to minimise construction waste. Limiting the time and activity on-site also reduces the environmental impact of the building process. It also takes a shorter time, which in turn helps to cut unnecessary costs, said the group.

The design team for the prefabricated villas is led by Nino Osljanac, who has more than 15 years of experience in architecture, interior design, and master planning. He specialises in designing luxury hotels, resorts, and bespoke villas and has a portfolio of award-winning hospitality properties across Asia.

Selo Group has been developing several villas and high-end resorts, including its flagship resort and residences development Selong Selo Resort & Residences in South Lombok, Indonesia since 2016.

A 25-minute drive from the Lombok International Airport, this development offers more than 50 luxury villas with one to seven bedrooms, a full-service spa, clubhouse, Aura Bar & Lounge, a kids’ club, and beach club access. Adjacent to the resort are 20 exclusive luxury surf villas available for sale in studio, one- and two-bedroom options with a private plunge pool.

Each villa complements the panoramic views through floor-to-ceiling windows, an open layout with a private pool and deck, kitchenette, and expansive living spaces. There are various design themes, including a Southern California-like charm, Surf Cabins and Surf Glampers. The prefabricated villas are selling from US$650 psm.
