KUALA LUMPUR (July 5): Seacera Group Bhd shares fell 2.50% this morning after it was served with a winding up statutory notice for RM15.53 million.

At 9.30am, Seacera fell 0.5 sen to 19.5 sen for a market capitalisation of RM92.55 million.

Yesterday, the group said it was served the notice by Messrs A.S. Gill, Thong & Agnes on behalf of Suong Sdn Bhd demanding payment for outstanding rental, goods and services tax and agreed liquidated damages over breaches to its tenancy agreement dated Aug 4, 2016 for its factory in Selayang, Selangor.
