KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 22): Lotte Chemical Titan Holding Bhd (LCTitan) said today that the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) decided to dismiss the review application submitted by the company’s former non-executive non-independent director in relation to the breach of Bursa Malaysia listing rules.

LCTitan said in a Bursa Malaysia filing today that SC had indicated its decision in a letter dated Feb15, 2019. 

Today, LCTitan said: "We refer to the announcement made by the company on 19 December 2018 in relation to the alleged breaches of the relevant provisions in relation to the listing of the company on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 11 July 2017."
 
"The company wishes to inform that the SC has vide its letter dated 15 February 2019, decided to dismiss the review application submitted by the company’s former non-executive non-independent director, and [to] further enhance the sanction imposed to include a penalty of RM220,500, in addition to the reprimand imposed," LCTitan said.
 
LCTitan said the company has noted SC's latest decision. LCTitan said the company is of the view that this incident has no material effect on the company’s business operations or financial condition.
