PUTRAJAYA (July 6): Riza Aziz, the 48-year-old stepson of former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak, exited the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters at 7.35pm today after nearly 10 hours with the graftbusters.

It is unclear whether Riza will return to the anti-graft commission's headquarters next week, but MACC sources said: "For now, it is highly unlikely."

Since he was first summoned on Tuesday (July 3), Riza has spent four consecutive days at the MACC headquarters.

Earlier today he arrived at 9:45am, ahead of the scheduled 10:30am, and was later given a 90-minute lunch break.

Riza's questioning of about 30 hours to-date is believed to be related to his film production company, Red Granite Pictures Inc, which the authorities suspect received some US$100 million of funds siphoned from state-owned 1Malaysia Development Bhd, which is now the subject of investigation in a number of jurisdictions including Malaysia and the US.

He is alleged to have used the funds to produce three big-budget Hollywood movies: Dumb and Dumber 2, Daddy's Home, and the Wolf of Wall Street, the last starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Riza is the son of Najib's wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor from a previous marriage.
