KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 2): RHB Research has upgraded the technology sector to “Overweight” and said the sector was upgraded as recent recommendation revisions by the research house meant that it have five “Buys” and three “Neutrals”.

In its strategy note Tuesday, RHB Research said the sector was generally expected to benefit from the expected recovery in exports and is a net beneficiary of the stronger US dollar.

Among technology stocks, Century Software Holdings Bhd rose 2.3% to 44.5 sen, Digista Corporation Bhd up 2.22% to 23 sen, Green Packet Holdings Bhd up 1.64% to 31 sen, Inari Amertron Bhd added 1.82% to RM2.80 and JCY International Bhd gained 1.89% to 54 sen.
